Every type of anime has it’s predominant tropes, and this is true for harem series as well. Watch one, you’ve seen the jist: multiple ladies fawning over that one guy who has a special something, a little sparkle of magic about him that makes the world revolve a bit more around him than anyone else. Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai embraces the tropes of its forebears and gives them some airing and, perhaps, a slightly unwelcome jostling.
