Terms and Conditions

Please be sure to read the Tickets section for a full guide on how to purchase a ticket. Also be sure to check your purchase with care before placing an order.

Payment method and period

The purchase is payed by Paypal or a direct bank transfer, to be payed as soon as possible. The maximum payment period for international purchases is two weeks, after which all unpaid purchases are cancelled.

Products and delivery

After purchase an order confirmation is sent by email. The entry tickets are delivered as electric PDF file by the buyer at purchase. As the tickets are only delivered by email, please pay extra attention to giving a correct email address when buying the ticket. The ticket can be printed or presented from a phone or tablet screen at the event, where it will be exchanged to a wristband. The tickets are defined by unique bar codes read at ticket exchange. The wristband works as an entry to the event. 

Desucon Frostbite has an age limit of 18 years of older for attendees, so all attendees are required to provide sufficient identification at the time of the ticket exchange. An international passport is the most secure means of providing identification, but a Finnish driver's license or a Finnish identity card with a picture are also approved.

Cancellation

The purchase of tickets can be cancelled for 14 days after purchase, ending one week prior to the event. Tickets cancelled during the cancellation period are refunded to the buyer's bank account, indicated at the time of cancellation. Cancellations are to be made by email to myynti@desucon.fi. After cancellation the bar code is voided, making the ticket unusable. Cancelling ticket purchases outside of the cancellation period is not possible. 

Reselling tickets

The buyer can resell tickets as they wish. The tickets are defined by unique bar codes and all attendees are required to provide identification at ticket exchange, so the name on the ticket is not an identification factor.
