Isekai genre often feeds into the working adult's dream of quitting their tiring everyday job and traveling somewhere better. But what if we look at the isekai process instead as a work application? We have youngsters with no work experience but lots of youthful shounen "oomph" and adults with various skills but also years' worth of emotional baggage, all waiting in line for an interview with truck-kun.
