Toshio Furukawa

The Guest of Honor for Desucon Frostbite 2012 is Mr. Toshio FURUKAWA.

Mr. Furukawa is an experienced seiyuu best known in Finland for his roles as Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z, Portgas D. Ace from One Piece and Shin from Fist of the Northern Star. During his long career Mr. Furukawa has also done a great deal of dubbing, narrator roles, radio productions and voice acting for games. Mr. Furukawa has also been playing guitar in a seiyuu band called SLAPSTICK and acting in a few TV series.

Mr. Furukawa's hobbies include fishing and scale models. He has a pet dog called Asuma, named after Asuma Shinohara of Patlabor who was also voiced by Mr. Furukawa.
